The Amsterdam Notebooks—Page 7.
It's Day 7 of this 35 day project. (The set thus far.) As you may remember, I've just made my way into the Van Gogh Museum, which was the #1 thing I came to Amsterdam to see. I'm looking at the paintings and watching the people:

it's going to take a while before i can see "van gogh" and not think of theo's assassination in amsterdam last november.
and of course "double bummer" was the not-so-classic album by bongwater whose singer was anne magnuson.
Ann, if you're still up, Peter Jennings' death was just announced 15 mins ago.
I have a link in my blog, but so far, only lgf have the story.
Since you're doing Glenn's blog this week, it seems you're going to be doing extra-duty on the obit watch -- they'll start to pour any second.
