I'm off.
I've got to vote and then fly to Washington for that gathering of the bloggers, which can't be more arduous than wearing 100 pounds of T-shirts, can it? Here's a partial list of who will be there. I wonder who will be fun to meet and who will be boring or scary... and how much I'll tell you about what I find out.

Ann Althouse and Mary Katharine Ham in the same room? With TV cameras? that's going to be the best lookin' bit of TV that CNN ever screened...
Crap, did I type that out loud?
....And the reason why you can't simply do this from home, is ?????
Peace, Maxine
How can you react to the body languages of others if you're not in the room. No matter how good the teleconferencing, you miss something by not being present.
Ok, I'm being mean.
Actually, I can't wait to see all the riveting, compelling action.
I just live to subscribe to CNN's Pipeline.
The intesity of it all.

Ah, it's billed as a pajama party?
She didn't mention that, eh Maxine?
Those vanishing-point photos.
A picture of someone taking a picture of someone taking a picture, ----of someone else watching them all.
The New Millenium: We are all watching each other watch eachother.
20 years from now, when Ann has finally, finally lived out her youth, at last...
...will she recognize the silliness of this whole thing?
Peace, Maxine
Puttin on the Ritz:
It's a friggin' Coffee House for pete's sake.
Silly me, I was thinking they'd all be herded into the CNN War Room, and given press badges.
Hahaha
Turns out anyone with a laptop and website can sign up.
Peace, Maxine

Dang. I guess that rules out derve's whole pajamas/negligee/g-string/whoa-I'd-better-stop-now idea.
I agree that the infinite regression is absurd, but I want to be on the scene, witnessing it. Maybe I'll write a book about it and de-regress.
Also, I want to see who freaks out, who sobs, who laughs, who grimly types through thick and thin. I can't think of a better chance to observe bloggers. Plus, there are some people I really want to meet.
Ann says "I'm Off".
We say no kidding but we still love you.
Who do you really want to meet? The group seems eclectic but a little more lefty than you seem to be. More my taste than yours. Maybe those are just the bloggers I am familiar with, and the only the middle righty I read is you, and that is because of your scintillating BloggingheadsTV appearances.
I'm just jealous she gets to hang out with MKH.
I double dog dare you to: [1] tune your TV to FoxNews the whole time[if for no other reason than Michael Barone is an idiot savant about precincts and districts] and [2] get on camera and work "Sippican Cottage" into the on-air discussion.
Aw, heck. I TRIPLE dog dare you.
I'm gonna' be putting CNN in the rotation tonight, but ONLY because you're on it.
Let us know if Kos is as sexy in person as he is in photos.
Kidding.
