Have the Althousian oenophiles tried those fabulous reds from south of the equator: south african pinotage; argentian malbec, and nearly any wine from Chile--not to mention aussie wines, and new zealand whites (cloudy bay sauvignon blanc).
The world of wine has expanded dramatically, and its possible to get some superlative values from south of the equator. Warning: you have to twist the cork clockwise.

Have just started to listen to the podcast, what a pleasure not to have to listen to the annoying adenoidal adolescent theme song.
