Beth said...: I love living in the Deep South. Three days ago, I pulled in the plants for our first (let's hope the only) freeze of the year, and today it was in the low 70s. There's never a shortage of green in the landscape.

But I've lived where there are real seasons, and these pictures left me longing for some time up North. I miss the Berkshires, where we spent a couple of months during our Katrina evacuation.; 1/6/08, 7:30 PM
