"Top 44 moments from the path to becoming #44."

I love this "highly biased, incomplete, and unfair list of classic moments from the 2008 presidential primaries." With lots of video links. Here's the one I keep coming back to when I want to laugh a lot:

ADDED: If you don't see why this video is so funny, you probably do terribly on this awareness test:

I watched the Dodd clip and didn't hear anything funny. Then I saw that it was posted 'cause of the bug in the hair.

I see but I do not observe.

Dodd sounds like a machine, emitting a high-speed sound bite.

#38 is Sen. Obama talking about "inhaling frequently" with some fondness, albeit stony-faced, as he recollects that that was "the point."

The link goes to the Chris Matthews show which only gives a snippet of Obama's response.

Where's the unedited clip?

The fly made me chuckle. Is that Dodd's real hair?

Missed the main item in the other video.

The fly is not reasoning well just now. A man buzzes at its ears. This is enough to render it incapable of good advice. If I would have it find truth, I should chase away this animal which holds its reason in check and disquiets that intelligence which governs kingdoms.

That kind of thing doesn't make me laugh. Rather, I feel sorry for him. We all see what's going on and he doesn't know.

I don't remember if I failed that observation test or not when I first saw it long ago. I probably did. I find the ability to concentrate on one task and to ignore distractions is a great skill. If I could count and keep track of distractions that would be better. I'd like to have less fat on my body too. And a fuller bank account. And whirled peas.

No I didn't see the moonwalking bear because the video is so freaking dark I can barely see the basketball players.

Cool test of awareness though. We did something like that in a college psychology class where a guy came in interrupted the class made a delivery acted strangely and then left. Did he have a moustache? What was written on his uniform? Amazing how unaware we are.

Chris Dodd dated Carrie Fisher back in the day. She in turn dated Jabba the Hut.

Their hygiene thresholds are very low.

My question still stands:

Does Dodd wear a toupe? His hair looks very Morton Kondrake like.

Why do the labels fail to include moonwalking bear?

I had forgotten Jon Stewart's mention of The Fly months ago.

Certain men have a LOT of hair, and by some miracle of alopaecia, they still have it when they're old and white.

Jack Kemp

Leslie Nielsen

Newt Gingrich

Pope Benedict XVI

Barbara Bush
