What happened in the twilight down there in the bottoms.

Our resident animation master Chip Ahoy took my photo from the Twilight Café and played out its forboding mood:

My, what a large... tongue you have, Althouse.

Great. And what a relief that the dog is smiling in close up.

I love it, especially the slobbering finale. Thanks Chip.

I'll dissent from David: I think the smiling ending totally ruined the foreboding aspect (kind of like a picardy third.)

Count me in the "love it" group.

Something tells me that Holly got a treat and some scratches behind her ears when Meade saw this.

Smiling? - looks more like he/she is on the hunt, to each his own

The Chipster has created another performance art winner. He needs to be a part of a DVD of Althouse Revisited to be issued soon.

Very nice job, Chip. It's got that back-and-forth drama with the big finish. I think she's smiling too. Woof!

Perhaps more "Look at me! Look at me, dad!"

"Be berry qwiet -- we're hunting Awlthouses!"

Penny said...

Which is much more fun than hunting owls' houses!

Kirk, only the playful and deluded Althouse believes it's a Coyote. It's a friendly happy slobbering dog.

Great job, Chip. :)

At first glance I thought your intriguing animation was a black raccoon from the way it was running, when it was *only* a shapeshifting dog. Either one would get my full attention out where the tall grass grows.

Kind of reminds me of that old Commodore 64 game "Forbidden Forest":

An influence?
