There's so much talk of Mel's "racist rant." I listened. Although he most certainly says the n-word and says it in a line that suggests contempt for black men, the rant is all about the woman's purportedly fake breasts. The hatred is squarely aimed at the (white) woman.
A feminist issue.

Well, duh. OJ. Obama v Hillary. Done. Gender issues have even deeper roots than race imo. Guys are eager to discuss the race issue under the cover of bro-mance gone wrong, but the women? Fuck em. That's something they can agree on.
When I was a somewhat naive freshman, I once sat in an all night laundromat. There was a short, wussy, white liberal guy and a black guy in a suit. The black guy was pissed. He was ranting about THE MAN. The white liberal guy was eager to agree with him.
Then he switched to "and women, women can walk three steps behind me," etc. The liberal white guys was all barely squeaked, "Oh, I don't know. I know some women who I should walk three steps behind."
I guess I should have been happy he even did that. Many wouldn't.
I learned a lesson that day that unfortunately has been repeated over and over.
What annoys me is that women are such IDIOTS about the reality of it. If they clue in at all it's usually when they are older, so there is really no hope because it'll just go back to square 1 - okay maybe square 1.5, I'll be positive, with every generation.

Hollywood making innacurate historical movies is about as ubiquitous as Obama surrounding himself with fringe leftist/communists for all of his political life.

We went to a nice place -- Joseph Decuis in Roanoke, Indiana, and we had the chef's tasting menu. Dessert consisted of a passion fruit sorbet, and rice pudding. The only berries I recall were huckleberries, I think, in the foie gras.
It was really good. I've been to fancy places in Chicago and San Francisco, and this place in little Roanoke is actually comparable.
Oh, and then I had other dessert later, too. I'm too much of a gentleman to go into details, but it involved Mrs. Pastafarian in a little French maid outfit. That was really good too.
