Even more majestic than those space station pictures everyone is making a fuss about.

Should have sent a poet to sit in the back seat. Ivan Andreitch, describe this view!

Just thought I'd share this link to a story from Arkansas relevant to some discussion here in the last six or so months. It was about how so many modern conservatives have become neo-Confederates.

"The South shall rise again
New state rep: Confederate flag 'a symbol of Jesus Christ
',

"When asked what the Confederate flag symbolizes, Mauch said: "It's a symbol of constitutional government. It's a symbol of Jesus Christ above all else. It's a symbol of Biblical government.""

Apparently, you can't have a Tea Party without crackers!

It's hard to hold the camera steady sitting on someone's lap.

Neo-Confederates????

As they once said in the Army of Northern Virginia, "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot"?

So, I guess a neo-Con (as opposed to neocon) is someone who believes Robert E Lee's initial suggestion should be followed: secede, but give full rights for blacks.

Considering how many Stars and Bars everyone has seen at Tea Parties the last couple of years, I think Alpha's baking some strange stuff into his Irish water crackers.

Alpha...No confederate around here. That is a real boogeyman story. But it is not real in the south anymore, so you need a better set of writers. And southern Republicans that I know are forever finished falling for any more made up racial guilt trips.

Does this post mean you are off for Thanksgiving already? Have a nice trip.

I made scrambled eggs this morning that bordered on being a sauce, and then covered them with sauce. It was excellent, and you can't have any.

All I have to say is that mid-western roads were build by fucking retards. How in the holy host of fuck can you people stand being on two lane per side roads when you have all that open space to expand out to 4 lanes and avoid all that bullshit.

This picture looks like the cover of the paperback edition of The Great Gatsby that I read in high school. The one with T.J. Eckleburg's eyes.
