"'Civility' Was Always Dead."

"'Push back hard,' the New York Times advised. Government union backers have done so."

Well, it's been dead at this blog for quite some time ...

I agree. The leftwing trolls have killed civility on this blog and everywhere else.

What's amazing is what humongous pussies they are.

"WE'LL FUCK YOU UP"

Until they get exposed for the jobless fucking losers they are.

The unions put on a good show, but they're really too scared to actually commit themselves to a fight.

It is always the same with bullies. They bully because they are AFRAID. Once you stand up to them, they SHRIVEL like little penises.

Punch back twice as hard? Hell, you don't even have to punch these fucking pussies. Merely wretch their way and watch them FLINCH.

No. Not always. But since the 60's you could go without a bath for a year and still mingle in public. Especially in Greenwich Village.

Meanwhile, if you want to talk politics, the Tea Party people have always been polite at their gatherings. Safe enough that you could even bring children.

This time we have street action in Madison, Wisconsin, while from DC Libya saw Gaddafi shooting his own citizens; and nary a word out of Obama.

Sure. Sometimes I think of 2012. And, I know both sides don't have equal enthusiasm to vote. I've recently added to my list that the drop off of support might be heaviest to Obama from his own left.

After Nancy Pelosi euthanize her Blue Dogs, nothing in politics could come along to surprise me.

The press never thought Nixon would win in 1968. I think that's when the term "The Silent Majority" was born. But I could be wrong.

Indeed lol as my #606 post in a previous thread indicates.

The yin a and yang of blog posting, especially when one is trying to squeeze this tedious/minutiae filled conservative blog in while watching March Madness.

Priorities ...

take care

In the Spring of 1985 some vietnamese students at UT Austin held an event commemorating the ten-year anniversary of their homelands loss to communist tyranny.

The counterdemo was disabused me of any notions of Lefty decency.

I notice the Gray Lady, in the editorial Taranto quotes, sanitizes what The Zero originally said. It wasn't, "Push back hard", it was "Punch back twice as hard".

I rather think the unions remembered the original quote, just the way the Fishwrap of Record intended.

Fen said...

Applying the same Libtard standard as was done in Arizona, shouldn't the NYTs be shut down for promoting violence?

harkin said...

Hang in there Ann - I had no idea that when the public unionists and their stooges said their 'pushback' would resemble the demonstrations in the Arab street that they were talking about those demonstrations over the Danish cartoons.

Bet they don't.

Marilee said...

shiloh, if you don't like it here, or feel there is a lack of civlilty, why are you here?? There are plenty of other folks with differing views.

Well, obviously, the Wall Street Journal is part of the mainstream media.

Marilee

Keeping AA honest er tarnishing her sparkling, conservative/liberals always think the same, crown.

ie conservatives = god's gift to mankind!

liberals = den of iniquity!

This blog is somewhat amusing in its ad nauseam ideology absolutes. Again, no grey area ever allowed at this blog ...

But alas, it wears thin quickly.

apologies to Anderson Cooper

Fen said...

Poor Shiloh. He's been reduced to whining about the blog again.

Seven Machos said...

Shiloh comes not to discuss substantive issues, but to moan about partisanship at Althouse.

Clearly, this place should be objective Like Shiloh.

Marilee said...

shiloh, I disagree with you re: idealogue absolutes. I have been a lurker here for a long time, for the very reason that there are conservatives, liberals, libertarians and a few anarchists. When mud is thrown, it is returned. But usually with a sense of humor. I have been on sites like you claim this to be. This is not one of them. Sure, it leans right, but the left leaning sites I've visited are not nearly as willing to engage in debate.

shiloh said...

Marilee what you say is true, except for the liberal site generalization, but what I'm sayin' is AA is a strict conservative ideologue, except for a few "equal protection under the law" issues.

As an aside, my first political forum where anyone could start a thread re: anything "current" after the 2006 election most of the conservatives left and after the 2008 election, they all left ~ go figure! ;)

but, but, but conservatives do indeed truly love AA and would never leave as she is their hero. Which is fine ie if one wants to be a lemming ...

Again, there's only so many ways you can say Obama/Dems suck before a political blog becomes a self-parody.

And the same is true for a liberal blog which said from 2001/2009 cheney/bush sucked!

ie what's the point as "we" heard you the first gazillion times, no need to repeat.

Obviously you weren't around when the blogger lady was posting photos of Meade's underwear.

Newbie!

Shiloh: but what I'm sayin' is AA is a strict conservative ideologue, except for a few "equal protection under the law" issues.

Libtards. They really are this stupid.

Trooper York said...

I must admit I did enjoy watching Rick Pitino's despair as his team blew their game.

It is enough to make him dig up his dead kid and move to another school.

Trooper York said...

Wait was that un-civil.

Sorry.

I hate Rick Pitino.

Henry said...

Again, there's only so many ways you can say Obama/Dems suck before a political blog becomes a self-parody.

No. There are infinite ways.

Trooper York said...

You know shiloh I like you but you are a pretty silly guy.

Calling the blogger lady a hard core conservative ideolouge is like calling Bob Wright a Macho Man.

It is just funny dude.

Trooper York said...

I know because I am a hard core conservative.

Well as hard as an Irish guy can get the day after St Patricks day.

Those Jamison shots stay with you man.

If only Taranto knew Fen's Law:
"The Left doesn't really believe in the things they lecture the rest of us about."

Or my version:
They don't talk about [civility] because they believe in it, but because we do.

They use our own codes against us. Alinsky and all that.

shiloh said...

Meade's underwear

hmm, but that may fall under "equal protection under the law" lol

or not!

Did I mention conservatives, as a rule, are wound soooo damn tight w/their faux evangelical kowtowing, they are just dying to break out of their skin and show their true colors.

This may or may not be true w/AA and her tagalong.

>

No. There are infinite ways.

Indeed Henry as the truth will set you free! lol

And TY, your occassional attempted humor, is one of this sites few assets ;)

Much like C4, who flies in occassionally to ruffle some feathers :) and is totally missed when he's gone ie irony.

and so it goes ...

Marilee said...

Sigh, conservative="faux evangical".
Stereotype much??

shiloh said...

Let the record show Marilee was offended by my sarcasm, but didn't disagree w/anything else in my post(s).

btw Marilee, are you as offended w/AA's daily, sarcastic generalizations re: liberals and Obama?

Rhetorical question.

Sigh indeed!

Trooper York said...

"Attempts at humor?"

Sigh indeed.

shiloh said...

so many disingenuous, misunderstood sighs, so little time!

Trooper York said...

Let me leave you with this thought shiloh.

Be careful who you touch.

Even on the internets dude. You don't want a stalker. Just sayn'

shiloh said...

Define stalker as one man's stalker is another man's passive/aggressive fool.

Again, many are wound too tight to even be on the internet. One could argue the net is a release for those who have a tendency to actually "go postal".

Or not.

>

Deal w/life as it comes, as the expression makin' a mountain out of a molehill comes to mind.

Of course if one is seeking publicity ie britney, lindsey, paris, k kardashian, etc. one may have a different perspective.

Karma ~ you reap what you sow.

You can't have it both ways. Either let us comment about Obama as we please or apologize for 8 years of Bush bashing. I am waiting with baited breath for the apology.

They use our own codes against us. Alinsky and all that.

"Theirs is the morality of kidnappers. They use your love of virtue as a hostage. They know that you'll bear anything in order to work and produce, because you know that achievement is man's highest moral purpose, that he can't exist without it, and your love of virtue is your love of life. They count on you to assume any burden. They count on you to feel that no effort is too great in the service of your love. Dagny, your enemies are destroying you by means of your own power. Your generosity and your endurance are their only tools."

SGT Ted said...

Oh i get why shiloh hangs out here. She is from the leftist inquisition and she is here to ex-communicate Ann from the Liberal-left church, like most bigot leftists do to those who do not march in lockstep with the shibboleths they hold as their creed.

See, Ann dared to disagree with a leftwing, tax-leeching union and exposed the rent-a-mob action of wannabe communists by showing the lawlessness and disrespect for the taxpayers that it actually was.

What the unionista better remember that when it comes to "punching back twice as hard" is that the non-union National Guard bats last when it comes to mob violence.

shiloh said...

Let the record show ted dutifully tried to defend anne w/his incoherent rant, as she could not defend herself ... much like AA's lemmings dutifully/religiously try to defend her w/their ad nauseam, incoherent rants.

Hey, all I ask for is consistency.

and its nice to know the National Guard is a conservative organization which swears allegiance to the same. ;)

teddy boy's lame sarcasm notwithstanding ...

"I hate Rick Pitino."

I enjoy your comments TY, but to this I must say: Damn you, sir! I never hated him when he was the Kentucky coach, I just hated seeing him on the opposing bench. But now he's our son of a bitch. Bet you can guess where I went to school.

Now let's get back to pretending to be civil while Althouse pretends to be a right-wing ideologue (it's those votes she's cast for POTUS that's the tipoff she's pretending).
