Krauthammer says Palin and Huckabee will probably not run for President in 2012.

And it's too early for Paul Ryan. And Trump is "a clown." Bachmann's a long shot. The serious candidates are: Romney, Gingrich, Barbour, Pawlenty, and Daniels. According to Krauthammer.

And if it is reality stars who we want to run lets dump Trump and elect Caroline Manzo.

She knows where the bodies are buried.

And I mean that. Her family has buried plenty of them. Just sayn'

whether the Republicans will stay idiots is an interesting question. If Palin is the nominee, about half of them will stay home.

Then they WANT TO LOSE. It's as simple as that. And if that's the case, they'll destroy the Republican Party, because I, for one, will drop 'em like a hot potato. I expect the rest of the Tea Party will do the same:

It'll be third party time, but definitely not one day more of support for the LOSERS.

The Independents will overwhelmingly vote against Palin.

Then they want MORE OF THE SAME. [Eyes go to the ceiling,...whistling, checking bank account records, etc.] Again: It's as simple as that.

The Democrats will turn out in droves.

That's to be expected. Fuck 'em if they can't take a beating.

So Romney cannot get past Romneycare, Daniels raised taxes on high incomes as part of deficit reduction, Palin's a flake, Barbour is a racist, Huntsman worked for Obama, Johnson of New Mexico is unknown, and Huckster is a jerk. The only GOP candidate worth nominating is Pawlenty.

Pawlenty mandated 20% ethanol in Minnesota? That's worse than Romneycare in my book. O's gonna win because each of the plausible GOP candidates has a serious flaw. Have to see more of Huntsman.

Daniels reduced property taxes by constitutional amendment and paid for it with an increase in sales taxes. This is the way to go. More taxes on consumption and less on property. But the Grover Norquist wing of the GOP will never let him get elected.

The media hated Reagan and W. as well, but the voters like Reagan a lot and W enough to elect them twice.

Yeah, I remember the vicious media attacks on George W. Bush in 1998. Man, that was insane!

And the way the media was obsessing about Reagan in 1978. Crazy, man!

The media attack on Palin is unprecedented. I've never seen anything like it in my life.

They are absolutely determined to destroy her.

So it's just a question of whether Republicans are going to allow the media to pick our candidate for us.

If we nominate her, she's a serious candidate. And the media will have to treat her that way. Or go the way of Newsweek.

It is early 2011. "Johnson is unknown" does not equate to "we can rule out Johnson". At this point in 1991, few Americans knew who the heck Clinton was, either.

Of the people who have declared thus far, he's the one who *should* be the Tea Party favorite. We'll see how it actually plays out.

They already did. Give it up. You're obsessing over a political corpse.

Was Reagan regularly attacked? Sure. He knew how to fight back, deflect criticism, and win over the public. Palin tried to do this and failed. Her public approval has been dropping steadily ever since she stepping into the national spotlight.

The worst approval deficit Reagan ever had, compared to Carter, was in the single digits. Palin's approval rating is twenty points below Obama's. Nobody has ever won the Presidency under those conditions.

But I fully expect you dumb bastards to nominate her and thus saddle us with another four years of Obama. You'll probably spend the next four years insisting that she run in 2016, too.

Approval of what? Her existence?
