I wish I could really understand the Japanese.

I have no idea what's going on on those islands.

First he rides a bicycle, then he kills Sarah Connor.

The robot needs to lean when turning. If it can manage that, it won't need to be so jerky with the handlebars.

In order to "lean" it would simply need a weight that can move horizontally. It would normally be in the center but could offset a bit to one side or the other. Humans do it by placing more weight on one hand and moving the head to that side while dropping the shoulder. People who ride a bike with no hands use their heads to balance.

How long before some Flash genius integrates video of a 1969 Ford Galaxy crushing this thing as it breezes by? A green metallic Galaxy 500...

I was curious how it started. It looks like it simply steers back and forth to maintain balance as it gets underway. I wonder if this is driven by a feedback loop using data from a gyro or if it is programmed to wobble the handle bars for a few seconds during startup.

Looks more like a radio-controlled device rather than a true robot.

Maybe jerkiness is actually more efficient and we humans should start riding our bikes more jerkily.
