"Maybe she can get one of those Wisconsin doctors to write her a fake note."

Instapundit's intro to "Where’s Hillary’s Medical Report?"

Here's my original 2/19/11 report on the doctors offering to write sick notes for protesters who were skipping work for the Wisconsin protests:
At first I thought it was some sort of comic street theater, but it was, apparently, real doctors, defending what they were doing.... I asked if it was dishonest or unethical, and the answer was that everyone has symptoms, perhaps a migraine, diarrhea, or insomnia....
In that light, I'm sure Hillary does have symptoms. She's probably suffering horribly from the anxiety around the Benghazi attack and the possibility that she might have to speak about it. And she keeps telling us she's tired:
RUSH: Susan Rice last night on the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.  He played a portion of his interview with Susan Rice, and then he asked her, "Why was it you that Sunday morning?" Why did they send you out there to every Sunday show, five of them?  "Of all the people in government, why the US Ambassador the United Nations answering questions about the attack at Benghazi?"

RICE:  Secretary Clinton had originally been asked by most of the networks to go on.  She had had an incredibly grueling week dealing with the protests around the Middle East and North Africa.  I was asked. I was willing to do so. It wasn't what I had planned for that weekend originally, but I don't regret doing that.

RUSH:  Did you hear what she just said there?  She said they asked her to go 'cause Hillary was tired. Hillary Clinton had originally been asked by most of the networks to go on.  It was Obama who shut it down.  Obama wanted Susan Rice out there.  He wanted somebody far away from the story telling this lie that it was the video that led to the unrest.  Somebody close to it woulda had a little bit tougher time with any credibility telling the lie. But you get Susan Rice, she's distant. She is the UN ambassador, got nothing to do with Benghazi, not in the State Department. She has no representation at the consulate or at Benghazi, send her out there, and so Brian Williams said, "Why send you?"  "Well, you know, Hillary, she originally was asked, but she really had a grueling week.  I mean, dealing with protests in the Middle East and North Africa, she was really tired."
Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice — the spent and the expendable.

If I had a student doing this, I would cut them a little slack -- assuming I know they are actually ailing.

But this smells.

So, when Hil runs for President in 2016 and some rude Fox News reporter asks her what she's gonna do when she gets too tired to run the country, will that be round 2 of the War on Women [sic]?

I thought the networks had makeup people who put stuff under your eyes so the bags don't show.

Well of course, Hillary Clinton is a disgrace - unfit for any public office.

What a wimp. What a lazy, dishonest cowardly fuck.

4 people are dead, but she's too tired to get out of bed. Bet she got properly upset at "4 dead in Ohio" though.

Those two Seals who gave their all were "tired" too, I'm sure.

What a c*nt. A true national disgrace of a miserable human being.

Not only is she no ways tahrd, she has often bragged about her "incredible stamina and energy." And where is it written that if she can't come to the committee room the committee can't come to her home and question her there?

How dare you! I'm so offended! You are speaking about two perfect females and one is black and they are both democrat progressives. They are not responsible for their words, deeds, and actions. So - how dare you! I'm offended....
I'm so upset, I might faint.

Ugh.
The media and Hollywood will pave the way for the tired old Mrs. Clinton to corruptly govern us after Obama is done.
Drink in the lies.

INVESTOR’S BUSINESS DAILY: Press Giving Hillary Free Ride On Benghazi.

"Clinton claims she can't testify for Congress on Thursday because she fell down over the weekend and got a concussion. Maybe so, but thus far no one's seen a medical report. What's more, it's the second time Clinton has put off crucial congressional testimony about the murder of a U.S. ambassador and three other U.S. officials by Islamist terrorists in Benghazi, Libya, last Sept. 11. The previous time, she had more pressing business, tasting wine in Australia and checking up on East Timor."

Hillary doesn't need a fake note from a doctor. She has the entire pro-democrat media hack collective to cover her bs.

This nonsense reminds me of Bubba Bill hiding behind Betty Currie! What is it with these powerful men who want to hide behind the skirts of the women in their lives! Madeline Albright, Donna Shalala, and Janet Reno all covered for him! Not to mention Hillary!

If Hilary was truly concussed, I am sure we would hear every aspect of the slip, the bang and the landing described in vivid detail by her enablers.

Radio silence only amplifies the fraud. Just not credible.

When the going gets tough, the cookie makers call in sick.

The Clintons are used to doing pretty much anything to keep power, advance the cause, weather the storm, cover their asses and keep power. They were a power couple, after all.

As for Obama, Rice is a pretty loyal soldier. How can anyone question her intentions? She's a true believer.

I figure some Democrats are making calculations for the future (politicians, you say?) , and if they have doubts about the current leadership, they're weighing their experience and beliefs against the promises of brown and black demographic steam and the new, fiscally unstable, more utopian, more equal society they can lead.

chrisnavin.com said...

Think about what Hilary Clinton has known, and how long she's probably known it throughout her life, and if there's anything fishy here, it's no surprise she's digging in.

It's not entirely out of the ordinary for many politicians either.

**If Bill had been a better man personally, maybe she wouldn't have felt so justified in thinking she was in charge, too.

About a year ago my wife fainted while we were in a restaurant. She was taken by ambulance to the nearest hospital, where she was put through a number of tests to rule out horrible stuff (stroke, heart attack) before she was released. All of this took medical equipment a Dr. doesn't carry in his bag, and took several hours, before they decided she could be released.

I have a hard time believing a Secretary of State can faint, strike her head on an object hard enough to be concussed, and not go to the hospital.

I hear what you're saying, but I'm far from the only one and I try to avoid some of the screaming matches in which some indulge - actually, I skip a lot more of the nonsense than you might imagine.

The ones I go after are the FUD merchants and their incessant lies and disinformation. They operate on the old Commie principle that, if you throw enough against the wall, some of it will stick.

I've been around long enough to know never let a lie go unanswered. It's why I link so much.

It has no connection with the public govt health care that has the long wait times.

There's no need to rebut those two, you're the only person who even reads them. The only result is cluttering up every thread.

Clinton's DOS daily schedule which normally reports her meetings and public appearances has read "no public events" since her return from Belfast on Dec. 8. I don't see such a lengthy gap anywhere in her schedule history.

Something would appear to be very wrong. If the virus/concussion story is true, then it must have been a serious injury and the details should be made public to prevent people like me from speculating.

"Big hard to miss target"

Come on now, I thought we weren't going to make fun of Garage and Inga's weight anymore.

But mocking them is necessary. After reading Inga blatantly and without any regret display her bigotry towards homosexuals in one of the prior threads, I can only take comfort that due to her advanced age, dimnished mental capacity, drink addled mind, and unhealthy physique, she will not be long for this world. Unrepentant bigots like her and garage need to be called out for reducing human beings to nothing more than their sexual desires, and swiftly turn on them when anyone dares to challenge their political orthodoxy.

It is not much of a comfort, as I will be forced to deal with the consequences of the policies she and her dear leader Obama are inflicting on the country for the next 50 to 60 years.

And make believe children are incapbable of mourning her when she is gone. Perhaps organizing for America or whatever left wing collective that exists at that time will note her passing.

Forward!

Welcome to edumbshit's fact-denial bubble!

Well, that's not true at all, is it Marsha? And it's pretty damn easy to prove it's a lie too, since I can easily link to threads today and yesterday where several people replied to my posts.

Also, considering the fact that YOU responded to one of my posts just the other day proves that you read my posts too. It's a guilty pleasure, right?

So much for Marsha's credibility.

Two questions:

1. When's the third grade graduation?

2. Do you think your teachers will finally give you that social promotion?

And you should look up obsessed. It doesn't mean what you think it means.

EMD said...

Slightly OT, but I just returned from a business trip in London.

Two of the first three people we met from the firm we are working with, unprompted, related their latest health care adventures to me.

One, who had fractured his elbow in a motorcycle accident, asked if it was common to be left on a gurney for hours without explanation in the hospitals/clinics in the states, and the second smiled and said "well, it is free, but you know the saying ... you get what you pay for."

Jake Diamond said...

Inga -

It looks like Marsha is obsessed with you too. But please don't assume that Marsha reads your posts just because you get a response. No, Marsha ignores "trolls." Always.

Marsha may have repeated what you wrote, and Marsha may have directed a post to you, but that doesn't mean that Marsha read your post, and it certainly doesn't mean that Marsha's brain was functioning during the time required to complete the task. In fact, all available evidence suggests that Marsha's brain is on "idle" during Althouse sessions. Marsha is determined to save that valuable brain power for important tasks like scratching and listening to Rush.
