I hear the Glock uses those "high-magazine clips".

I thought Glock's were Austrian?

Gotta do something about the font size. I don't adjust well to change.

Boy, you fixed that fast! Thanks, Meade.

Kimber America makes nice handguns.

I want to be a "Purchase of the Day".

This is my dream. Amazon makes dreams come true.

Glocks are those "plastic guns" we read about in the 90s before the last gun ban.

Patience please. Now how do I take the parking brake off on this thing? What's this button marked "code" do?

Meade said...

There we go. How's that? Now we're zipping along the old information highway, aren't we?

I thought Glocks were European as well. My pistol is Italian--not Beretta--I'm too cheap for that.

Yea gang... COLT 1911A1 is America's gun! That and maybe S&W Combat Magnum, but Glock?

Glocks are very reliable, and they've brought a lot of innovation to gun design.

Would hippies reject Glocks because they are too "plastic" or because they belong to the "man"?

(they got the guns but we got the numbers)

Synova said...

Everyone's seen this, right?   The "glock" is iconic.  ;)

One could argue that the AR-15 is "America's Gun"

(Sorry, horrible spelling)

I think I mentioned that one of the guns I saw at a local gun shop was a little 9mm conceal carry gun with all pink plastic parts.

On reflection, I think that guns should look scary. The scarier the better. I think it's probably much safer that way. The pink gun looked like a toy. That's not good.

Better to be all black plastic and dangerous looking, like a Glock.

Who could hate the "Hello Kitty AR-15"?

Like California's former governor - except that nobody would ever describe the Glock as "moderate."

Glock rhymes with Cock.

Gobble Gobble one of us.

Joseph Mitchell, fine writer. Gave 'Up In The Old Hotel' to our 21 year old grandson for Christmas this year. He gave a thumbs up to McSorley's Wonderful Saloon. Many tales of men doing rugged work...no metrosexuals in this volume.

Any inclination I had to buy through the Althouse Amazon portal has been thoroughly killed by this 'deal of the day' publishing. You say it's supposed to be anonymous. Well, it should also be private.

Meade said...

Thanks for publicly sharing your opinion and marketing advice.

Ditto: what Ruth Anne said.

I guess I'll buy Skyrim elsewhere :-)
