So, the issue is normalization, and not tolerance. There is no legitimate reason to normalize a behavior without any redeeming value to either society or humanity. This is not principally a religious issue, other than that the Judeo-Christian faith demonstrates an extraordinary compatibility with the natural order generally, and evolutionary principles specifically.

That said, the activists need to recognize that misrepresenting the issue will not benefit their cause. Many and perhaps most people have a clear understanding and ability to discern the terms and circumstances of reality. The activists would do well to acknowledge that most behaviors, including homosexual behavior, are not suitable for normalization.
